Large Contract Win For Local Consultancy
A local recruitment consultancy has just secured a large contract to supply and train refuse collection operatives and class 2 drivers in Chester, and is already calling for interested workers to register for vacancies.
MRC International has just won the contract with Bumper’s Lane-based Focsa Services (UK) Ltd, which includes the supply of temporary workers to cover holidays and sickness as well as full and part time roles as needed.

“We’re delighted to be working with Focsa” explained MRC’s Industrial Divisional Manager Mark Kavanagh. “The company has a great reputation both locally and nationally, and we’re very much looking forward to helping manage their staffing needs. We are providing a full-time member of our team who will be on-site to register interested new workers and to manage staff inductions and training” he added.
Although MRC International does have a number of local people lined up for the class 2 driver and refuse collection operative vacancies with Focsa, they are seeking more so are keen to hear from anyone interested. “We can manage the whole process for them” explained MRC International’s Contract Manager Anna Vraniakova. “Anyone interested can call me on 01244 314141 or email me at
a.vraniakova@mrc-recruitment.com and I can arrange everything from registration to inductions and health and safety briefings” she concluded.
Focsa Services (UK) Ltd is a waste and environmental management company that offers services include domestic refuse collection, recycling schemes, commercial waste collection, street cleaning, grounds and vehicle maintenance and clinical waste collection. In Chester the company is responsible for waste collection, and will be managing the transition from black bags to wheelie bins in the coming months.
“We wanted to partner with a recruitment consultancy who could fully manage our vacancies” explained Focsa’s Contract Supervisor, Ian Roberts. “MRC International stood out from the other consultancies who presented to us, as they can not only offer planned cover for holidays and vacancies, but also ad hoc cover at short notice when one of our full-time operatives calls in sick. It’s that flexibility and service which secured the contract” he concluded.
